DV Transfer

How to use DV Transfer to transfer DV files to dvd or computer?
The steps to transfer video from DV / mini DV camcorders is quite easy with the help of DV Recoerder. Follow these guidelines to trasnfer video from the capture device connected to your personal computer:
Step 1. Please connect your dv to your personal computer using an appropriate cable (usually a USB cable). For detailed steps, please refer to how to connect dv to computer.
Step 2: Turn on your capture device (if needed) and your personal computer.
Step 3: After the operating system boots, install the device drivers from the disc supplied with the device or go to the device manufacturer web site and download and install the necessary drivers. After that you might need to restart your system.
Step 4: Start DV Transfer. If you have several capture devices connected to your computer, you will get a screen like this: Your devices will be listed on the left.

If you have only one capture device connected to your computer. DV Transfer will display the dv video on the left player.

Step 5: .Select a video capture device (in case you have several) clicking it in the device list and set up its parameters.
Step 6: Set the scheduler in case you plan to stop capturing automatically at a certain time or when the captured video file size exceeds some value.
Step 7: Change the audio format and device settings using the provided options.
Step 8. Click 
button to trasnfer your DV video to computer.

Step 9. After the capturing is over or if you press the 
button, you will be presented with the options of what can be done with the captured video. Here you can click Burn button to transfer DV to DVD disc.
This DV Transfer can run on Platforms: Windows XP, 2003, Vista (no Mac OS/Linux support)
