Step 3: Start DV Capture Software. If you have several capture devices connected to your computer, you will get a screen like this: Your devices will be listed on the left.

Step 4: .Select a video capture device (in case you have several) clicking it in the device list and set up its parameters.
Step 5: .Set the scheduler in case you plan to stop capturing automatically at a certain time or when the captured video file size exceeds some value.
Step 6: Change the audio format and device settings using the provided options.
Then click Start capturing button to capture your DV video.
